We all understand the word human. It is a familiar term that is commonly used. But do we really know how humans or the human species came into existence and how it evolved over time? Human beings as we see them today are the result of the evolution that has taken place over millions of years. Man is said to be the most intelligent creature on earth. No wonder it has invented so many things to make life comfortable and worth living.

Man as we see him today is the result of millions of years of evolution. We are nothing but a small part of this vast universe which has its own mysterious ways of holding things together and bringing changes from time to time.
Man is counted as the most intelligent creature. Unlike other animals present on the earth, human beings are involved in a wide range of activities which help them to grow mentally and also affect their physical well-being. God has given intelligence to man and he has made full use of it to make his life comfortable.

It is said that the ancestors of man looked like monkeys from which it has evolved. Chimpanzees and gorillas are our closest relatives. There has been a great deal of research on how humans evolved, and the results of different theories from different researchers are largely the same. Among all the theories, the theory by Charles Darwin is very popular. He described the evolution of man in detail in his book 'The Origin of Species' which was published in 1859. Apart from the Darwinism theory, the Synthetic and Lamarck theory of evolution has also attracted a lot of attention of the people. However research on this topic is still ongoing and many new findings are obtained every now and then.
Human species has evolved a lot in the time from monkey to man. Earlier humans were very large in stature, with big ears, sharp teeth and thick skin. He looked completely different from the man we see today. Man has continuously evolved over the centuries and is still evolving both physically and mentally.

Scientists and researchers claim that human evolution is still happening and by 2050 a new type of human species will come into existence. The average lifespan of humans is likely to increase to 100-120 years. It is also being said that the human species will be able to give birth to children even in old age.
If we look at ourselves, we will find that we have changed a lot, evolved and are very different from the people who lived in the last century. The people of that time developed by doing agricultural activities which involved physical labor. Due to regular exercise in these activities, he used to have a good physique. They used to eat good food smeared with ghee, oil and sugar and indulge in tortuous activities. Even he ate large amounts of ghee and sugar all his life, still diseases like heart problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. did not touch him because he used to sweat hard. With the development of industries, there has been a big change in the nature of the people working in them. Today's youth have become physically weak because they prefer to do jobs sitting on the table-chair where physical activities are negligible. Many such diseases have been seen which were never even heard of in the last century.
Due to the advancement in technology, most people are glued to their phones for most of the day. People often prefer chatting or watching videos while ignoring the people sitting next to them. This is also a part of development. The way it is developing, it is adversely affecting the mental and physical health of the people.
Just as people spend most of their time on mobile phones and tabs these days, by 2050, people will be spending most of their time in virtual reality. It is being said that humans will rely on artificial intelligence in the near future and most of their day-to-day tasks will be done by robots.
All these important changes will happen due to advancement in technology. The way of life of humans will completely change.

The evolution of man is indeed a miracle. In the beginning nature has played a major role in the development of man. In the years to come it seems that man himself will be responsible for further development through his own intelligence. Times are bound to change and we hope that whatever change happens, it is for the good.
