1. The size of an adult Royal Bengal tiger can be up to 420 pounds (190 kg). The sheer size of this big cat may surprise you. The Royal Bengal Tiger can be up to 9 feet in length. Female tigresses are slightly smaller than male tigresses and often weigh up to 310 pounds. Tigresses are rarely more than 8 feet tall.

10. Tigers are skilled killers, they are very fast in catching their prey. The tiger is so powerful that it can break the backbone of any animal in one stroke and if caught in the throat, it can kill any animal in one stroke.


11. Bengal tiger is pure carnivore. This big cat can eat more than 30-40 kg of meat in one go and then they don't need to hunt for 3 weeks.


12. Female tigress gives birth to 3-5 cubs. Female Bengal tigers are engaged at 2 1/2 and a half years. The Bengal tiger can live for about 25 years.
