Essay On Youth |
Puberty is the stage when a boy leaves childhood and gradually moves towards adulthood. Most young boys at this age have the curiosity and enthusiasm of a young child and the excitement of an adult's knowledge. The future of any country depends on its own youth. Thus great emphasis should be laid on nurturing the children in the right way so that they grow up to be a responsible youth.
Introduction
Youth refers to the generation who have not yet entered adulthood but have completed their childhood. The modern youth or the youth of today are quite different from the individuals of previous generations. There has been a big change in the ideologies and culture of the youth. It has had both positive and negative effects on society.
modern youth culture
One reason for the change in mindset and culture is the influence of western culture and the other is the increasing advancement in the field of technology.
In earlier times people used to visit each other's place and have a good time together. Neighbors also used to come together to help each other whenever there was a need. Although today's youth do not even know who lives in the next house. This does not mean that they do not like to meet people. They socialize only with those people with whom they feel comfortable and not necessarily just someone's relatives or neighbours. So basically the youth today have started doubting the set norms of the society.
Modern youth do not follow the rules set by their elders. They want the support of their parents and guardians but do not want their guidance at every step. Today's young generation wants to learn new things and explore themselves in the world. Today's youth are very impatient and eager. These people want to do everything at once and get annoyed if things do not go their way.
Although not everything is negative about modern youth. The human mind has also evolved with time and the younger generation is very talented. Today's youth are curious and motivated. Today's youth group is very smart and knows very well how to achieve their goals. They do not bind themselves by traditions and superstitions. No obstacle can stop them from achieving what they want.
today's youth and technology
The advent of various gadgets along with the advancement in technology has changed the lifestyle and overall attitude towards life and the segment of the population that has been affected the most by this is the youth.
These days the youth are so engrossed in their mobile phones and social media that they have forgotten that there is a life outside it too. Today's youth are very concerned about themselves and want to show and tell everything that they have through social media. Instead of enjoying every moment, he wants to show how his life has been. It seems that no one is really happy but everyone wants to tell others that their life is better and more fun than others.
Apart from mobile phones and social media platforms which are making a huge impact on the lives of the modern youth, there are other gadgets and other technologically advanced devices which have brought about a huge change in the lifestyle of the people. Today's youth prefer to workout in the gym instead of walking in the park in the morning. Similarly, while earlier people used to walk for miles to reach their school and workplace, today's youth prefers to use a car even if it has to cover a short distance. Lifts are being used instead of stairs, food is being cooked in microwaves and air fryers instead of gas stoves, and malls are being preferred to parks. To sum it all up, technology is taking the youth away from nature.
conclusion
The youth of India who are blinded by the western glare do not realize that our Indian culture was always very good. Though it is not good to bind ourselves with superstitions but we should take good values from our culture. Similarly technology should be used for growth in one's life. We should not become slaves of technology.
