1. Having knowledge.
What you have to do – First of all it is very important to have knowledge inside you, but you should have knowledge of what you have to do and then in the same knowledge you should know why you have to do it. Whenever you will get knowledge and make a goal of yours then ask yourself what you have to do. You want to become a doctor, become an engineer, become a painter, become a dancer or become a singer, what do you have to do, first of all be knowledgeable, ask yourself what you have to do.
Why you have to do it – Now ask yourself why you want to do it, now this is where many people get confused. Many people get their own why by getting in the affair of others.
Like :- My friend was going to do this so I am doing this, my family members my friends have told me to do this so I am doing this, my parents want this so I am doing this And their why is answered in such a way that you can never be clear as to why you are doing this work. You do this work under the pressure of others, for some time you do it, but after some time the fun in those works stops and you stop working.
While your answer should be that you are doing or will do this work because you are getting happiness because you have to earn money from it and you can do it well. So, first of all remember that whatever knowledge you get, first of all ask yourself what you want to do and why you want to do it.
2. Having Qualification.
Now comes the second ability, you have come to know what you have to do and why, but if you do not have the ability to do that work, then you cannot move forward, so you should know that you can do that work. How will you do it?
Let's understand this thing with an example, suppose you are hungry and you have to make Maggi, now you know what you have to do, you have to make Maggi, why you have to make it because you are hungry. But after this comes you should be capable of it means you should know how to make it, now a recipe is written on Maggi, you follow it and make it.
But our life is not like Maggi that it can be made in two minutes, but it takes years to develop skills. The better skills you have to develop, the more time it takes. Whenever you do a course to develop your abilities, you know how much time it will take.
Like if you want to do MBBS then it will take 4 to 5 years for B.E. If you want to do it, it will take 4 to 5 years, if you want to do B.Com or B.Sc, it will take 3 to 4 years, but if you want to become a singer, want to become a writer, want to become an actor, then here it will depend on your qualification. How many years will it take you here? So after knowing what and why it means, it is very important to know how you will do that thing and develop your abilities. So these two steps will not work if you do not follow the third step.
3. Having your will in that work.
Now you should also have the desire to do that work, you must have seen many people that they are very expert in many things but do not work because they do not have the mind to work or the desire to do their work. It is also very important for you to have Motive + Action and that is called Motivation. It is very important to have that desire within you because without it you will not do that task at all.

So you too must follow these three steps to achieve your goal in order to move forward in your life.

3. Now after knowledge and ability, it comes that whatever work you will do, it is also very important to have your will in that work.
