The princess started telling the story to the 49 princes of Janussanam and Haran. She told me that I am the daughter of the king of Dariabar, an island near Cairo. My father had prayed for years, after which I was born. He taught me politics, horse riding and all the other skills needed to run the kingdom. He wished that after him I should look after all the works of Dariabar.
The princess further said that one day my father went to the forest to play hunting. On the way, they reached the dense forest. Going there, he saw a man with a big body, beside whom a woman and a small child were crying. After eating a lot of food, the man started pressurizing the woman to marry him. When the girl did not agree, he got angry with her. My father was watching all that from a distance. As soon as he saw that the man was about to raise his hand on the girl, he released an arrow from his bow, which hit the man's chest. At the same time the demon died.
My father asked the woman her story. That girl told that she is the daughter of the head of the nearby Sarasang tribe and the one whom you killed used to work in our house only. He had been eyeing me for a long time. One day, getting a chance, he brought me and my son to this forest and started insisting to get married. Now I don't know what to say when I go back home.
The princess said that after listening to that girl, my father brought her with him to his palace. He took great care of that woman and her son. As soon as that woman's son grew up, everyone started talking about my marriage with that boy. That boy was strong and intelligent, so my father fixed our marriage.
After that, a few days before the marriage, he told the boy that you are going to marry my daughter. I will make you the king of this place after marriage. The boy was very happy to hear this. Only then the king of Dariabar said that I have only one condition.
That boy asked my father, what is that condition? Then my father said that you will not marry any other girl after marrying my daughter. If you make this promise, then only I will get you married to my daughter. The boy got angry on hearing this. He said that he is the future king and that kings have many wives.
On hearing this, the king broke that marriage. This enraged the boy so much that he killed my father. Then he started looking for me to kill. Then the minister asked me to run away from there by showing a secret way.
I did exactly the same. I ran away and boarded a ship. Then there was such a strong storm in the river that the ship sank. Somehow I escaped and reached the bank of the river. It was a lonely place. There was no one anywhere. I started crying loudly. After a day some people came there, they asked me about me, but out of fear I started crying more. After that a boy came in a horse and started questioning me again. He told me that he is a prince and he wants to help me. I trusted him and told him everything.
Then he immediately took me to his house and introduced me to his family. After some time the family members of that boy got me and that boy married. On the very first day of marriage, his kingdom was attacked by enemies. In no time they killed all the people of that state. Somehow my husband and I escaped from there.
We saw a boat in the nearby river. We immediately sat down on it. The wind was opposite and strong, so our boat went in the wrong direction. Just then a big ship was coming from the front. We asked him for help. Later it was found that the robbers were sitting in it.
