Alif Laila Story - ( Part 2 ) The Story Of The Princess Of Dariabar |
They took both of us prisoner. They were seven dacoits. Everyone wanted me to become their servant. Because of this everyone started fighting with each other. At last a dacoit killed everyone and told me that I do not want you to be my maidservant, but my master wants a maidservant. I'll hand them over to you. She asked me who this man was, so I told that he is my husband. On hearing this, the dacoit threw my husband overboard.
The princess further said that only then that monster came in that sea, from whom you saved me Janussanam. He freed me from that dacoit and brought me here to this cave in the forest. On hearing this story of the princess, Janussanam said that you are safe now. The 49 young boys with me are all princes of Harran. You can marry any of these. The princess told Janussanam that if I will marry, then only with you. You are the one who saved my life. All the princes accepted this.
Everyone happily got both of them married. Out of happiness, Janussanam also told his truth to everyone. Janussanam said that I am also a prince. He told all his brothers that I was the son of Piroj Maa, who was brought up by his cousin Sumer in his kingdom. On hearing this, the princess said that you were already looking like a prince to me. The girl was happy to hear this, but her brothers became jealous of Janussanam. It occurred to him that Abba gives him so much respect from now on. If they come to know that this is their only son, then they will give their everything in his name.
Thinking so much, all the princes made a plan to kill Janussanam. They kept beating him throughout the night and when they thought he was dead, they ran away. After that all the princes went to their kingdom Harran. As soon as the girl saw her husband lying outside in a bad condition, she started crying. After some time, when she calmed down, she saw that her husband was breathing. She ran away from there to find Hakim. When she returned, she saw that her husband was not there.
The doctor said that some wild animal might have taken him away. Having said this, the Hakim took the princess home with him. After a few days, the doctor said to the princess, "Son, tell me about yourself what happened." She wept and told everything about the death of her father and husband, the demon and her new husband Janussanam.
He knew Hakim Janussanam and his mother. He said, “Princess, you may not know, but Maharaj has brought Janussanam's mother Piroj back to him and she has come to know that Janussanam is his son. Since then he is very upset.
Having said this, the doctor said, come on, I will take you to the state of Haran. The princess said, "Okay, I will tell about all those princes to the emperor." The doctor warned the girl not to do this at all. If the princes see you, they will kill you too. First I will go and meet the king's wife i.e. Janussanam's mother when I will tell her something.
On reaching Harran, Hakim somehow met Malika Piroj and told her about Janussanam, his wife, the demon and everything else. Knowing all this, tears started coming out of Piroj's eyes. He told the doctor that you bring my daughter-in-law here tomorrow. I want to meet her
Hakim left from there and Begum Piroj fainted crying. As soon as the news of this was received, the emperor came to meet Piroj and started asking the reason for his ill health. Begum Piroj told all the things told by the doctor to the emperor. Knowing this, the emperor ordered all his 49 sons to be imprisoned for killing Janussanam.
Following the order of the king, the soldiers put all the princes in jail. As soon as the morning came, the doctor reached the palace with Janussanam's wife. The king and his wife welcomed them both very well. All three remained sad for many days in the memory of Janussanam. Jainussanam then demanded the king to punish the murderers of her husband. The emperor immediately announced the death sentence to all the princes after four days.
Here Haran's old enemy was preparing to attack the kingdom again as soon as he got the news of Janussanam's death. He attacked the kingdom as soon as he finished the preparations. Harran's soldiers fought with them for some time, but they could not stop them from entering the kingdom. Then a young man riding a horse reached there with some soldiers. He finished the enemies in no time. The king proceeded to thank the young man. Then the king saw that he was none other than Janussanam.
On seeing Janussanam, the king embraced him. The king was so happy to see him alive that no sound came out of his mouth. Jainussanam himself said, “I am your son. Everyone thought I was dead, but a farmer picked me up in an injured condition and took me to his village. He treated me and I got well. When I thought of coming back to my kingdom, I came to know that the enemy of Harran is about to attack our kingdom. Then I gave a test to the youth of the village to fight and brought everyone here with me.
Hearing all this, the king asked him to go to his palace and meet his mother. Jainussanam went there and met his mother and was happy to see his wife there as well. Then the king reached there and said that Jainussanam you are very courageous. I know your fight with the demon and everything else. Jainussanam said, “Abba, the brothers must have told you all this, didn’t they?” In anger, the king asked Jainussanam not to mention his name.
Janussanam's mother tells him that we all know who tried to kill you. Now all your brothers will be punished. The king has sentenced him to death. Hearing this, Janussanam told the king that he is your son and my brother, so leave him. Yes, he has committed a big crime, but he should be given a chance.
After listening to Janussanam, the king immediately asked the soldiers to bring the princes from the prison to him. As soon as all the princes reached there, Jainusanam hugged them. Seeing all this, the king was happy and declared Jainussanam as the crown prince of the kingdom. Then the king gave a lot of reward to the doctor for bringing the farmer and his daughter-in-law there who saved the life of Yuvraj Jainussanam.
Shahrazad became silent after telling such a story. The world praised his story a lot. Hearing this, Shahrazad said, “I have another such amusing story. If Badshah does not kill me, I would like to tell him that story tomorrow morning. The king gave permission. Read the second story to know this story.
